There is no major conspiracy here. Nobody is reporting people because it's anti Sony. I have reported republicans and I am a "huge republican" according to some people here. When people cross the line I report them. That goes for Sony fans.

Also, a lot of retailers have lowered the price.

Between March 24th and November 24th 2007 the PS3 did 3.96 million.  Why do you expect the Wii U to do 7.2 million in the same time frame when it has been trailing far behind what the PS3 did in 2007?  (543k for the Wii U and 1.443 million for the PS3).

See my linked thread in my sig. It has a comparison from launch to the same week. Even with two extra weeks in PS3s total to date, WiiU is still ahead in sales. So this idea that WiiU is trailing far behind anything but Wii is simply false. WiiU is still cumulitively ahead of PS360 with launches aligned by a good amount.

According to this very site, PS3's LTD at the end of 2007 was 9.2m. That's for the "first year" that I was referrencing above. So yes, I incorrectly said "about 7m" in regards to PS3 (I was just thinking of its 2007 only data, not 2006 launch plus 2007) and yes I do think WiiU will be around 10m by end of this year LTD.

WiiU is currently around 2.8m and with just a few games saw a ~100% increase in its weekly sales from 30k to 60k. Once the launch times passed in Nov and March, PS3 also dropped to about 60k a week (beginning of March and then in June respectively).

There are good games launching in Q2 leading to E3 where there will be a lot announced for Q3 and Q4. Some of which we don't even know about. Look at how Nintendo handled bundling and various sale prices for 3DS. WiiU will get that in Q3 and especially in Q4 with some big games like ZeldaWWHD.

2.8m now. Q2 and Q3 another 3m... 5.8. Then at least another 4m or more over holidays as WiiU has the competitive price advantage to the rest of next_gen and mostly the same games that look nearly identical.

So yes, WiiU will be around 10m by end of year.

And sorry. If we can't compare the brothers in doom WiiU and Vita, then we can't compare anything. Vita and WiiU reacted pretty similar on games and pricecut, but you not only tried to spin some minor differences (that are always there) but also let your overreaction lead to a statement bordering a personal insult (reported for offtopic trolling). But Torillian let that go, but as I ironically point out what your actions can lead to I get an answer from him. Hmm.

I think you should tone down on your constant Nintendo-hate, this only leads to heavy reactions from Nintendo-fans. As you can see, I made the statement about reporting you ironically, but others may do it. And your posts (not only in this thread but in others too) are intended to angering people of the Nintendo-fanbase. So you should be careful, other mods probably don't let slip a insult.

Zelda: Wind Waker HD isn't a "big game".

It's port of a 10-year-old game that couldn't sell GameCubes back then with a fresh coat of HD paint put on it.

Ocarina of Time which is a far more popular Zelda game and also had new graphics provided the 3DS with a minimal boost (being generous).

Mario Kart U is Nintendo's big card to play. A lot of the games that get bandied about here are small potatoes.

Yeah... But 200% from what...? 125% from what actually..? Well in EU I think Wii u sold around 6k so.. Being up by 125% would be like 15k? Idk but you see my point right? It's true they are up but still selling very low... But still... Hmm yay!? (I don't remember the US sells last week)
