Oh wow, didn't notice that. Japan hates consoles outside the 3DS.

It is, but niche games can still push hardware if they have dedicated fanbases who wouldn't pick up a console otherwise.

But it was more a reference to the fact that there was a very nice bundle released in the USA with the game.  Even if the game itself wasn't a big draw, I'd have expected a very pretty limited edition console such as that one to at least push sales up a bit, not down by 17k.

Like I said though, I suspect the drop in NA sales is to do with changes in tracking.

The difference between Japan and the West for 3DS is astonishing : Japan sells nearly 3 times more 3DSs than the rest of the world, which must be around 5 times its population.

Yep, you are correct, my bad.  I should've checked the actually current pages.  I was getting my numbers from last week's Global Up thread, but it seems they've been adjusted way down since then.  Thanks for pointing that out!

I noticed this too, but the 360 will be the king of the UK in the seventh gen for sure.

WiiU sales and PSV sales are beyond awful, price cuts and games need to released ASAP.

There are 3033 countys in the US. 6022 PSV have been sold last week. That's about 2 Vitas per county. Next christmas?

Thats North america. In the US the PSV sold only 5,528 units.
