Hey, I went to EB Games today to pick up a stray copy of XenoBlade Chronicles, and I noticed all the copies of Fire Emblem were sold out. I talked to the worker there and he said they sold out on day 1, and won't see another shipment until February 20th.

I was wondering, are stores in your area also sold out?


Also, is this a good or bad thing? I mean it's nice to see Fire Emblem selling out, but with Fire Emblem, and the previously mentioned XenoBlade Chronicles, Nintendo has been undershipping JRPG's, and not keeping up with demand. Is this a serious issue? I'm fairly certain Nintendo expected this game to be the best selling Fire Emblem.

Yeap all 3 gamestops in my area, on amazon its $60 at the moment

NoA really seem to think the American Nintendo audience dont want JRPGs. Its that simple.

Yeah it's sold out in all four of my local gamestops along with a few walmarts.

This game is not a JRPG. It's a strategy game with RPG elements. :P

But yeah, I don't understand what the hell is going on. Amazon had delays and STILL isn't carrying the game. Brick & Mortar stores apparently haven't gotten shipments or very small ones. Nintendo really dropped the ball here, or this is there way to try to get everyone to download the game.

Will be the very first Fire Emblem ever to sell over a million worldwide for sure. Nintendo must be happy with this.

hope it's selling a lot, fire emblem games were really great for gba and this seems to be excellent!

I thought they had just made it more accessible. I don't think they necessarily sold out the integrity of the series!

isnt this a JRPG? if so they seem to be getting a bit more popular in the west again. ninokuni did great numbers in the usa, selling out too from what i heard, and now this selling out is a good sing.
