When I am not playing 360 and just want a bite-sized game on my Ipad 4, these are my favourites. What do you think and what are yours?

Great open-galaxy 3rd person space ship game. Dozens of ships, numerous ways to customize, and endless side quests to build up your cash as a mercenary, for which there are tons to spend on. Clocked in 20+ hours on this baby. Love the sci-fi atmosphere and the dogfights can get very hectic.

Repulze is a time trial game like Wipeout or Fzero. For a 99 cent game it gives you a great look and sense of speed.

First person Temple Run....with zombies! Pick up weapon crates along the way to buy yourself more time out of tight spots. Free game and its upgradeables are progressive, no real need to buy currency with actual money. Can get very tense.

Great campaign given its on IOS and a nice "horde mode" for Ipad.

This one is more of a personal choice. I liked card games back in my early teens and all though I see myself as "too old" to have physical cards today, I like that this game allows me to play a virtual match online every once in a while. A free game, but you can easily get the best deck you can get for only $5. Lots of deck types and combinations and the strategy/game mechanics are very origional and intuitive.

Besides a couple minutes of Doodle Jump and Plague Inc every now and then, I just don't get the big deal behind IOS gaming. They aren't very fun and clearly marketed towards a much younger generation of people. I'll stick with my consoles and handhelds any day of the week.

Space invaders Infinity Gene
Huge SHMUP fan, and there aren't many better shmups then this one.. on any system


Real Racing 2
there ain't a better handheld racer on any other handheld... easy to drive difficult to master.. and you need to master it going online

great jrpg, one of the best this gen

KoF fan, and while I did like SF4 volt, i think KoF does honor more the big console brothers

What is the file size for real racing 2? Was curious about this one. Ill read some reviews now.

iphone version 600mb and ipad version 800mb when on device... but you should wait a bit.. this month real racing 3 is coming out.. and you'll probably get to pick up 2 for 99 cents with a sale

Waking Mars

A game of haunting mystery, exploration, and xenogardening. Think Super Metroid with less missiles and more ecology. Utterly unique and totally awesome.

Pinball Arcade

Painstaking digital recreations of classic real-world tables. Lighting could be better on iPad, but there aren't many games that'll put your retina display to better use.
