Also, Microsoft has that dude-bro shooter appeal, something that moms and older people don't particularly enjoy.
They either need a really lovable mascot or a very fun, easy to access way to play games to be able to turn that around. Multimedia alone just won't do it.

Sony will take back the casual crowd it lost with the PS2, they were only temporary in Nintendo's care with the Wii.

Smartphones and tablets will take up most of that real casual market.

Nintendo will get a piece of that pie with a lot of parents buying nintendo products for their kids and many casuals will go for Kinect but the majority of this market will continue to play games on iOS.
