That article doesn't give the entire story either. I'm sure a lot of those who are working as janitors with PhDs are foreigners. I remember hearing how medical doctors in the Philippines are coming to the US because they can make more money at a lower job level. Immigrants with an education are at a huge disadvantage. But if that is what happened with the 5k janitor positions I'm sure they really aren't regreting it too much considering they are probably making more doing that than they would in their country
