Forums - Microsoft - Is Microsoft already teasing us with a "next Xbox" countdown?

Way too early to start an E3 countdown clock... for heaven's sake it's six months away!

A simple Xbox 720 announcement wouldn't give them the win. It depends on HOW they announce it, what feature the new console has and what games they show off.

Halo 5 for sure.

The Halo 4 ending is very interesing in the sense, that unless you payed much attention to everything that has been said, then you are like "how da f*ck will they continue the story?" so it has the potential to be an amazing reveal, specially now that 343 has much more time as a team, and have the time to actually do a reveal trailer that isn't CGI, perhaps not in-game, but in-engine.

Destiny by Bungie, the game is multiplataform, but we know by the contract (if it didn't change) that the game will debut first in the Xbox.

And for the casual pretty much the next Kinect.

Perhaps the new IP that Microsoft wanted to create that was as relevant as Halo?

If they play their cards well... it will be an interesing E3 this year.... finally.

Wow this is exciting! I probably won't buy it at launch, but 6 months after. That way I'll be able to properly compare the PS4 and 720 and see if I should buy a PS4 as well.

Hmm...Guess this one's really going to tempt me hard.

Too early for a Halo 5 reveal unless they plan on making it a yearly release.

Going to be an exciting year for sure.

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Ohh my... I hope not.

Yay!!!

WOW they stole my countdown powers... it's the same I used in Sony Q2 Earnings.

Kinda disappointing tbh...I was hoping they'd announce it in May or sooner!

But if they announce it at E3 that will be the first time any console has been announced at E3 which means my prediction would be wrong..... I'm still thinking a march or may announcement but who knows I could be wrong. i know, as hard as that is to believe :P

Hmmm...Major Nelson and I share the same first name.  I suggested Microsoft would make the reveal at E3, everyone wants to assume the countdown clock to E3 on MajorNelson.com is for the next Xbox announcement.  Coincidence?  I think not!!!
