Forums - Sales - Where do you buy your games?

Im from Portugal, more specifically Azores islands, so here games are really expensive, games that are 1 year old still cost 60 to 75 euros so i buy all my games on uk online stores, i search the best price and buy the games i want really cheap from a big range of websites

Last week i bought Bioshock 2 360 from game, it was around 10 euros, im my local gaming shops the game is still at 70 euros they never touch the price if it sells good if not it stays there for years or until someone buys it at that price , sometimes i feel sorry for people that get ripped off for buying games at that price

Amazon.co.uk, GAME, gamestation, hmv

In order:

amazon.co.uk

Steam

Play.com

Supermarkets sometimes have the bigger releases for cheap so any UK supermarket.

Amazon. The NEX here in this US base in Japan gets games like 2 weeks after the release date, Amazon's the best bet

why does this edit text stuff above only appear after ive made a post? when i go to make a post its just a square box of white

i get all my stuff from ebgames. best buy aint so best, walmart only has deals outside of my city. and deals/pawnshops here nickel and dime us. you may find a game in a pawn shop in california for $5 but that exact same game and pawn shop in my state/city would have it priced at $20. clearance sales hardly ever happen here as well. the only store that i know of that does things nationwide is gamestop/ebgames

Usually on online auction, like eBay but not eBay, for cheaper prices. I also check Amazon.co.uk and Play.com if they have cheap prices, mostly for older games. For pretty new games, Game.co.uk seems like a good choice. And if I preorder something and want it quick, I take the cheapest local online store. I live in Finland, by the way, in case you were wondering.

Oh, and occasionally I can find something very cheap in real stores.

Wii console - amazon.de
Games (Wii or PC) - amazon.co.uk because all german box covers are spoiled by the ugly logo of our rating institute

Examples:

Usually in Game but sometimes at malls is cheaper (for example MediaMarkt)

Consoles, I might buy them anywhere. (Usually HMV, since they usually have things in stock)

I buy software at either Gameshack (Near Dundas Square) or A & C Games (Near Spadina and Bloor)
