Awe I think I understand now.  The drug company and insurance lobbyists that run the country don't want their profits effected.  Mass shootings are almost always tied to psychiatric drugs..

I love how you guys automatically assume that with a gun in the picture many more would be dead. 22 people were in arms reach of a guy with a knife. One clean cut to the kneck would have made sure all 22 would have been dead.

Yeah, I guess STEALING them would be considered illegal, but all of these guns were legally purchased and owned by his mother.

Sad fact is, no proposed gun control laws short of making all firearms illegal in the US (and even that's no guarantee) would have prevented this.

yeah but it didn't happen, I am amaze how american are so stubborn to accept the fact that guns make mass killing way more easier then any other weapons

Absolutely tragic. Horrible, horrible stuff. I couldn't bring myself to turn the conversation toward gun laws earlier, but I can see it has already gone there without my help.

that is just factually untrue. first of all the is zero evidence that shows more law abiding gun owners make shootings worse by having "bullets fly everywhere".

2nd over 2.5 million people used a gun to defend themselves last year, compared to like 25k that were murder by them.

also concealed carry permit holders are shown to be some of the most reasponsible and law abiding group of citizeny in the entire US.

also criminals dont follow laws, you think they care if guns a banned? the only thing that does is make the work invironment safer. criminals love gun control. it makes for easier victims

and theres your problem. that many people wouldnt have needed to defend themselves if no one carried guns. Just look at the facts america has the highest gun deaths of any country that is not war torn and the only with gun culture.

where I live 90+% of the population dont even know where to find a gun and if people just get in a fist fight it sometimes makes the news, 

anyway theres no point in wasting my breathe theres no changing your mind but something needs to be done to he us culture of guns for this to stop happening.

um that doesnt make any sense. i never said people used guns to defend themselves from only guns, they defended themselves from criminals.

are you suggesting you only need to defend yourself from gun weilding foes?

and culture of guns is not the problem, because people who do have a gun culture dont commit crimes. The vast majority of the are upstanding citizens that are educated about guns. its people with a crime culture, that dont know anything about guns, and wish only to use them as intruments of death that are the problem.
