Im trying to prove a point to you, this isn't jealousy. I am impressed with Microsofts marketing and with the amount of effort they put into making games I can see why they cannot afford the marketing. They took too many risks with their console. They werent as social as they could've been. I mean seriously, if you go to the Xbox facebook they never show games, they only show celebrity events with the same Kinect games every day. Kinect is a failure for people like us because the whole "Kinect for the core" campaign that Microsoft was blabbing about was a failure. Sony knew the tech couldn't work, Microsoft probably knew but still sold it. They will need a peripheral like the Sony Move and you're making this arguement go in circles. The Kinect is not capable enough to play core games without following Sonys lead. Any multi-billion dollar corporation that has a monopoly on the PC os market can close down Time Square and pay for as much market saturation as possible. As I said Microsoft was a success with casuals, but not everyone is using it as their media hub. Eventually most will just go back to their remote controls unless they are playing Dance Central. When it comes to concrete content for games Sony will always have more. Concrete, as in proof, tangible, something that can be touched which is why I have so much to play between my PS3 and my Xbox 360. The only game I left to play on my 360 is Halo 4, thats it....ive been waiting months just for that and then one more game next year. You act like you dont know American consumerism and why there is so much A.D.D. in this country, because of the amount of market saturation and commercialism that exists at such a fast pace.

Doesnt change that long term success of any product is from its own quality, where marketing can only take you so far.
I stand by that kinect was meant for casuals and media hub objectives first, with core second in mind. As far as I see, the 1st objective was completed. Again, saying Sony knew the tech wouldnt work is irrelevant as they clearly have no idea what they are even doing anymore.
Sony has more, but based on the sales stats I showed previously....there is no point having more if the gamers dont care. Only catering to the vocal fans like yourself are a waste of resources. 360 has more if you include XBLA but lets not go there again.
Halo 4......"thats it" or so you claim.....is bigger then every PS3 exclusive in 2012 combined and has the quality to back it up. That is impressive for Halo 4 and sad for PS3. You also imply that you only play exclusives.....360 is well known and liked for its multiplats.
360 has more quality, quantity, and mega marketed blockbusters then PS3 in 2012.

Sony has more exclusive titles rated over 80, dont make this a quality battle because its a lost one. They make more, take more risks and have more franchises.
The media hub objective of Kinect is secondary, I've used it, it's nice but eventually the majority will just go back to the controller.
Sony has more, but extremely small marketing behind these games. Microsoft has expressed how hard it is to make a great successfu l game as Forza, Halo and Fable are the only games they made which survived into this gen. Most of their other games left a lot of be desired. Luckily they are thinking like Sony, building teams based on allstar talent. Luckily Sony can do both, they can acquire devs and have great long lasting relationships with them and create companies from the ground up like Superbot just recently or the Suckerpunch dev acquisition which people have been waiting for quite a while. The only titles or products that are exclusive to the 360 that has truly caught hold of a following is Gears and XBLA. Microsoft needs to just buy the Gears IP already, but I doubt Epic will sell it to them, because they could keep taking money from Microsoft.
I dont care how big Halo 4 is, if you're playing one game, that shows what type of gamer you are. I will be playing that, but there are other games out this year. Both consoles are known and liked for their multiplats, thats why they are called multiplats.
Whether the 360 has more quality is subjective to you, they dont span as many genres and are locked down to three major titles in Halo, Forza and one last Gears game for the rest of this gen. When you experiment like Sony you aren't locked down to having just a couple quality games, you can have many in various genres. You and everyone else out there knows it, but if Sony had a major shooter with mass appeal they would have Microsofts number.
