Ahh man... think what you will... I see that it makes you comfortable to act like you do. Each his own. Maybe you should read more unbiased interviews and learn more about cameras, sensors, 3D and all that jazz. I don't know what interview you talk about, the one I read is the one you posted earlier... biased as hell and the guy even lacks knowledge about Kinect and how it works but tries to act like he does. He even disrespect people at MS and their decisions... I'm sorry but if this is what you're reading as a reference then no wonder you don't know much outside Sony.

LOL You obviously paid zero attention to it yet again. The R&D Department had their hands on Primesense tech around the time they launched the original Eyetoy. Of course video tech was being created before hand. Sony's 3D TV is awesome as well, including their TV that has the ability to play two players on one screen without split screen, but does anyone care? No. Casuals dont want to buy a TV meant for a niche market. Thats something only a minority of true gamers would be into. If Sony wants to sell they have to get the core mentality out of their mind for ten seconds.

Well it's the first time you say Primesense instead of Kinect. I hope you understand that they are not exactly the same. The work MS had to do to make it work is what composes Kinect. It's precisely what Sony couldn't figure out, what they should be doing to use the technology with games.

The Sony tv is a neat idea. The problem is that people don't need this technology right now and more importantly people need to wear headphones... I've read that MS is also working on a tv that displays different images depending on where you're sitting but it was to make sure you get 3D without glasses and sit anywhere not necessarily in perfect front of the tv... both companies work hard, no need to think that unless they put a ton of marketing behind their product nobody would want them and/or the rival product is not working properly.

Kinect is impressively unimpressive. They did something which should never have worked and made it work. However because it was never really meant to be the whole device could never live up to the potential of what it could be. Kinect is the square peg that was made to fit into the round hole and it took a lot of work to make it fit. Because they somehow made Kinect fit they could also justify making a hole for Kinect in the next Xbox. Why else would they have a rumoured 8GB of RAM in their next system?

To sum up? Kinect is great and sucks at the same time. You're right if you say both or either.

Tease.

yep. i trid to do those kinds of things on wii sports resort boxing and lets just say i'd be better off playing the fight lights out on PS move..

Wii Sports Resort didn't have boxing. So in other words, Fight is a unfair comparison to boxing since it was without Wii motion plus.

yea k. Wii sport then. it matters not. it was that game with the kindo stick on resort. you should have seen me. i was awesome.

Move did what MS and ninty did, and the eye camera move combination IMO is the best of the 3, though very few games prove it. Move and motionpluse are different in alot of ways, both tech wise, and with the combination of PSeye.

I would say wii mote was best, it had plenty of games to prove it, its what helped the wii sell 90+ million. But yes they are different in alot of ways.

I really don't know either. I am no expert to tell and solve this error of Microsoft kinect. I hope you can conatct them through mail or even phone them about this matter. Microsoft's Kinect was supposed to be the next popular trend when it comes to input devices for your computer. But as it turns out, a 3-D motion controller known as the Leap Motion may be even more exciting. But I think it doesnt turn out that way. I read it here: Microsoft Xbox Kinect

Microsoft's Kinect was intended to be the next big thing on the subject of input devices for your computer. But as it turns out, a 3-D motion controller called the Leap Motion may be even more exciting. The fully 3-D motion control
program will be bundled with Asus PC laptops soon, then other platforms.

I'm pretty sure they made Kinect to make money and it did indeed make them an absolute shit ton of money so to label it a failure seems a bit silly to me.
