power utilization and the actual look and game graphics are different. Without reading about the subject. I believe that it indeed utilized the 3DSs power immensely because when I turn the 3D on the frame rate and graphics become choppy. My theory is that they haven't left enough processing power for the 3d because they wanted bitiching graphics

Played the whole campaign with 3D on and didn't notice any framerate drops except the ones in the loading rooms.

Since we are talking about Resident Evil Revelations, that reminds me. There was a part on the Queen Zenobia where I got into a contaminated Pool area. It was a dead end but I turned on some machine to clean the mess up. Jill said that it takes a while and I should come back later. I figured it might be main story related but I never did go back to this place. So, is there something optional to get thats worth the detour? I'm honestly to lazy to replay the campaign, especially without CPP^^

If I recall correctly, you get some Illegal Upgrade Parts and some weapons.

You can swim through the pool. On the other side you have ammo and I think there also were weapon parts. Also you find a hidden handprint in this area.

Ok, thanks guys. Damn, I hate to miss illegal weapon parts, those are the best. And those handprints are a pain in the ass, I found about 20 of 30 in one playthrough and I thought I was thorough.

Edit: I can't wait for Resident Evil: Revelations Ultimate on Wii U :D

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Same here .

Where are those damn things?!

No, Monster Hunter 4 does. Huge, open world. Lots of characters on the screen at once...very detailed textures and models. That game looks better than Tri on Wii. Very impressive.

I don't know if that's all that can be gotten out of the 3DS, but it is the most that I've seen gotten out of it so far.

What a great game that is. As Kylie said, too bad that the sales aren't better.

I still feel like the 3ds can be push further in graphics, just wait a little while for another game to come out that looks even more amazing on it.

I'm sure Monster Hunter 4 will take the graphics title for the 3DS. The millions in sales it will get will justify the effort capcom will put in.

from a visual standpoint, RE Revs. looks the best, because its (mostly) a corridor based game
but from a technical standpoint MH4 with its huge scale and insane animation outclasses it

I'm curious how no other game really standing out for 3DS is being announced

Revelations is the actual benchmark for 3DS graphics and I wonder if it really is the holly grail of the maximum visuals on the handheld.

I wonder if somebody ever is going to push this kind of graphics on the platform on a regular basis or if it is just rare thing to happen from time to time.

A little of topic, but I wonder if next portable new zelda will adopt twilight princess, skyward sword or wind waker style.

No. It just made a few "seemingly" detailed charater modals and smeared normal mapping over everything.

The graphics in RE Revelation are like the graphics in Halo on the Xbox1. Its all design and artstyle, no technical performance. The 3DS can do far more than RE Revelations.
