A few days ago Eurogamer posted their preview of the game’s updated build, in it they revealed that Resident Evil 6, on top of the already revealed four scenarios, would boast “an unseen ‘Prelude’ campaign.” And the image above, which has just been leaked and posted on various RE sites, pretty much seals the deal, listing all five campaigns. Yup, five seperate campaigns! 

This keeps on getting better and better!  I just hope the scenarios are 7 hours in length each.


They'll be much longer than that. Capcom Said each campaign will be about 3/4 as long as RE5 so we're looking at 40+ hours long game

I see a "Resident Evil 6 Gold" release with this game.  Maybe even packaged with REmake, as people call it.


I could see them remaking it for the Wii U. I just hope they do not wait too long. I enjoyed the remakes on the Wii and GC, but I am hoping for more on the Wii U.

 

In other news  I recently bought Resident Evil 2 for the N64!

Pft, that's so 1998.  I bought it on PSN, that's more 2008 :P.  but yeah that n64 port was bad ass, cramming two CDs into a cartridge.

I bet that at first the ADA campaign and the Prelude were disk locked content, but considering how horrendous every Capcom that "offers" that is performing right now, they realized that in order to get people happy, they must stop doing that.  Looks like Capcom is not so stupid, and because of that they will have my money XD. 

I think that each scenario at most will be 5 hours long considering that each scenario has 5 chapters according to the achievements.

Resident Evil 6 Demo Shambles To Consoles This Month

Capcom will release Resident Evil 6 on October 2, 2012, but PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 users both will have a chance to give it a test drive starting on September 18, 2012 with the release of a playable demo (via Siliconera). On the Xbox 360 side, that date just applies to Xbox Live Gold subscribers; free Silver users will have to wait an additional week, with the demo arriving on September 25.

That is, of course, unless you nabbed yourself an Xbox 360 version of Dragon's Dogma back in May, since launch versions of the action/RPG came with a code offering early access to the RE6 demo. Those folks have had access to the demo, which includes co-op play pulled from each of the game's three campaigns, since July 3. You'll be able to check it out for yourself if you haven't already in two weeks from today.

Who needs a demo when you can just buy the game retail right now?  In Poland.

What if Microsoft and Sony are pressuring Capcom enough to keep it off the Wii U?  OR are you secretley waiting for the Super Hyper Resident Evil 6 EX edition that's gonna get released on the Wii U with all the Ada Wong costumes :O?!
