Apple logo 300€? Pff, no thanks. No way I'm touching an Apple product of any kind unless I get it for free (or a price comparable to that).

PC all the way.
I hate MACs. It feels like they are trying so hard to be different that they change things people liked, just for the fact they really want to be different.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

PC. My parents bought my sister a Macbook 2011 for college for 1200 USD. I built my desktop for 1000 USD and it has three times the specs.

for gaming it's certainly PC

And I can found anything like Macbook Air in PC market... it is just too AWESOME...

Might I suggest the ASUS ZenBook Prime?

It's close, but no cigar:

http://www.theverge.com/2012/7/5/3135319/asus-zenbook-prime-ux31a-review

The Zenbook Prime UX31A boldly strides forward, only to stumble again. Asus introduces a brilliant 1080p IPS display that sets a high bar for every new premium ultrabook, and adds the backlit keyboard we missed, but fails to fix the terrible trackpad, weakens the hinge, stuffs it with cruft, and deadens the audio quality in the process. Parts of the experience feel premium, to be sure, but like the tacky stickers on the palmrest, the cheapness seeps through. There's little excuse in the second generation (of what's otherwise an identical laptop) for this sort of issue — particularly now that the 13-inch MacBook Air starts at $1,199 and there are plenty of Windows-based competitors.

I've always been a PC guy didn't know about MACs except that they were expansive as hell... then I became a graphic designer and studied on MACs and also worked on MACs. Now I know for sure PCs are way better than MACs.

MACs cost more for less, less compatibility (cameras, printers, cellphones, scanners etc), less softwares (games) harder to find pirated softwares, cost a legs to repair etc... Most people I know that have a MAC also run Windows so in order to run Windows people pay more and have less compatibilities... lolll, not for me I guess.

Are you joking, no? That's a cons not a pros.

I've read a few reviews (PCMag, Anandtech, The Verge, PCPro, etc.) and the issue seems to be brought up sometimes but not others so I guess it's very user dependent. Some report major improvements in usability but the problem being the placement and accidental activity from palms. More often than not though I saw no mention of touchpad woes. I've also seen it reported that the hinge was strengthened so I'm not sure what to believe on that.

Having said that, there are some great alternatives even in the Windows realm with Samsung stepping up their laptop game this year (in the ultrabook and gaming laptop space especially). I'd personally stick with a Thinkpad were I to get a laptop. I like a little junk in the trunk

Thinkpads are great. They are a little clunky, and I wish they'd let go of the nipple and the odd buttons above the trackpad (though I'm sure loyal users would crucify them for this), but they are damned reliable workhorses. I've seen and heard horror stories with HP, Dell, Toshiba... but never Lenovo. Whenever somebody looking for a Windows machine asks me, I steer them towards a Thinkpad. Won't save you much money over a Mac, but that's the price of quality.
