Depends. If you have the money personally I'd suggest the Macs for general tasks, but if you like to game, obviously you should have a PC and run Windows.

If money was not an object, I would probably go with a powerful Mac, but would still use Windows.

There are Mac with GeForce GT 650M or HD 6970M for gamming too... with Windows.

With Hackintosh yes! I assumed you were talking from a hardware point of view, in which case I actually objectively prefer the Zenbook Prime to the Air. The first Zenbook fell far short of the mark (the mark being the Air) but the Prime has been a quick turn around by ASUS to mitigate and nullify all complaints had with the original.

Again, not here to start a war between the two. I've used all 3 platforms to an extent and as I indicated in my post earlier, it all depends on what a user is looking for at the end of the day as well as what a user is comfortable with/used to. For people looking for a non-Apple alternative to the Air design, I'm hoping I've given them something to look at.

I liked this Zenbook but I'm more familiar with OSX than Windows... I use Windows just for work (my company notebook is a Lenovo with Windows... there are no options for that ).

PC. I used to prefer OS X's UI until W7 came out. W7 is awesome, and I hated Vista and XP is butt ugly nowadays. There's still a HELL of a lot of programs that don't support OS X but support Windows. So software-wise, it's PC with windows.

Hardware is a no brainer as a gamer, a MAC gives you mid-range specs at high-end prices, a PC gives you choice, easy upgradeability (is that a word?) and cheaper prices.

lol bill gates use to hve ipods back in the day when the zune was around trying to make it big.

I prefer PC as that is what I grew up with and use to encode stuff on and obviously pc gaming.

Always been a PC guy, that's the main reason why I like it the most. My sister have a MAC and I tried using it for a while and I just couldn't use it.

I also think that MAC computers are way too overpriced, too much money for something that it's nothing special imo.

probably because it's what I've been used to most of my life



 Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

LINUX > PC > APPLE (MAC)
at least in my opinion...

To answer the question i would choose PC over MAC. I tried MAC for a month and didn't like being inside a bubble...
