If the ports are well-made, then all is good. I wouldn't expect them to go back and recreate old games from the ground up. And aren't most ps360 games ported from the 360 to ps3 (or vice-versa) already?

Those systems are so close in power that it doesn't matter for the most part.

You're problem with ports is because they won't take advantage of the hardware?

Of course.

If the game is good, isn't that all that should matter? What are you? Some sort of Graphic whore?

Who said anything about graphics?

If you're not talking about graphics, then what are you talking about? You could have easily clarified in this post I'm quoting.

You had already said what I meant. "Not taking advantage of the hardware".Even ports from the 360 and PS3 to the Wii I would fault for this.

Obviously hardware is too vague since hardware includes graphics which is not what you're referring to. So, specifically, what are you referring to? I can only assume you mean controller input. Either way, I don't see why you haven't clarified specifically what you're referring to, other than to be deliberately ambiguous.

ummm so?

nearly any 3rd party game at this point is a ported game across all consoles. At least the two exclusive games are good core games.

How many exclusive games are PS360 getting from Ubisoft?

Plus I'm gladly buying some ports... AC3 and B:AC just to name two.... maybe even JD4 as wife/kids love the series.

i can almost taste that the next gen is a gen of ported games... exclusivity is rarer this days... good/bad news?

Well if WiiU gets all the ports, plus the Nintendo exclusivity.... What else can I ask for?

You should be excited about Ubisoft games anyways, they're support is shit.

Wait, isn't this already happening this gen? I think its good news because you can go to the console that has the best concept for you and have all the third party games.

Also, why are ports considered bad now? I thought thats what everyone expected from Nintendos next console, that they get the multiplats.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Jay520, I really like your style in conversations. You have a certain style how you reply to posts that I can't describe yet as it just went up to me.

Anyway, I like ports too. They're the essence of being a multiplatform game.
