I to am confused.
not like these are ports from a few years ago. They releatively recdent games or ones coming out.
the whole concept of multiplatform games is so you don't need to own multiplatforms and can go with your favourtie series one.
If people want future 3rd party support on the WIIU they need to get OVER this idea that if it is on other platforms it is not worth buying. If GTA V was annoucend on the WiiU would you simply not buy it because it will be on 360/PS3/PC?
If these were crappy ports I would agree but they are not. You may as well call it multiplatform games.
LoL... OP is mad that Wii U is getting "ports" of multiplatform games that aren't even out yet. Let's take a look at all of the Wii U titles Ubisoft has in store and see just what kind of "ports" some of these games are...
Marvel Avengers: Battle for Earth... Wii U/360, fall 2012
Just Dance 4... Wii U / PS360, fall 2012
Assassin's Creed III... Wii U / PCS360, fall 2012
Rabbids Land... Wii U exclusive, 2012.
Rayman Legends... timed Wii U exclusive 2012, then potentially on PCS360 in '13.
Sports Connection... Wii U, TBA
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Online...PC with Wii U version to follow... end '12 and beyond.
Your Shape Fitness Evolved 2013... Wii U exclusive, 2012/13
ZombiU... Wii Exclusive, 2012
Wow, so out of all those games, whileonly 2 are originals for the Wii U, there's only 3 actual "ports" from current gen consoles... Marvel, Just Dance and AC3... all of which have enhanced gameplay features via the tablet controller, and none of these games are ports of older games. The only disappointment here is that Far Cry 3 is apparently not coming to the Wii U, unless Ubisoft decides to port it over in the future. Too bad, you'd think that would be a great game for the Wii along with AC3.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Agreed... it's like the fanboys who say that FFXIII sucked, not because of the actual gameplay or anything, but because it was also ported to 360, and that in their warped minds apparently caused the game to be technically inferior to what it potentially could have been had it remained a PS3 exclusive.

Yet another piece of bad news for nintendo....
I think the support Ubisoft is giving to the Wii U is excellent, and the most we can expect from a 3rd party at this point in the Wii U prelife.
-An acclaimed franchise as Assasins Creed
-An exclusive (maybe temporary) Rayman Origins sequel which utilizes the features of the WiiUtablet.
-Just Dance 4, a franchise that started life on the Wii and it has became a phenomenon (Can it replicate the success it had in this new generation??? =O????)
-An exclusive (maybe temporary) Rabbids which looks really fun AND utilizes the features of the WiiUtablet.
-An exclusive (maybe temporary) Zombie U which has an appeal to hardcore gamers AND utilizes the features of the WiiUtablet.
-A Sports connection title which may sell well on the system
-A kincet/WiiU exclusive that will suck and sell like shit xD lol
yeahhhh it looks pretty cool, and its already the biggest western publisher for the Wii U (even EA, Capcom and Square Enix are lacking compared to Ubi)
