Karl Koebke, because he's the only guy out there who actually understands the charm of niche JRPGs. Actually, he's the only reviewer on this planet I can TRUST.

it's amazing how many people love Karl/tor for his love of JRPGs. maybe I'll decide to like them and give them good scores, too :P

He doesn't really give them high scores though. Look at his reviews and the average, there's no large disparity between the two. The content isn't a joke. Read a GameSpot review of any of the Atelier PS3 titles or Hyperdimension Neptunia and compare to his. The scores aren't wildly different, but one is incredibly idiotic.

I don't really have a favorite reviewer. The inconsistency between each reviewer is crazy especially considering a mediocre game received a 9.7 and an improvement receives like a 5.2.

Skyrim was not a mediocre game.  people need to stop saying this.  Performance issues do not immediately take a masterpiece and make it mediocre, they make a masterpiece simply fantastic.
