It's all the equipment that the Wii had, with the addition of a tablet controller- I don't see the big deal

~~~~ Mario Kart 8 drove far past my expectations! Never again will I doubt the wheels of a Monster Franchise! :0 ~~~~
why highlight the op of one person?
i dont understand
I'll see what the online is like and wait till 10 good games i want come out.. but that's just me.
It thought we still had a grace period before having to endure all the obnoxious comparison tables, where people totted up the price of all a console plus optional accessories just to say "LOOK! [my favourite console] is cheaper in the long run!". Some people just can't wait.
WHERE IS MY KORORINPA 3
Actually I'm more concerned about its long term capabilities vs the rest of next Gen. I want to own one console, not two.
Just came in here to say one thing: While I love the inclusion of multiple controller types that are better suited for different games, I feel like Nintendo is making it too confusing for most consumers and also confusing for publishers (which controller method do they primarily develop for?). It's a segmentation of user base, in a way.
And it's only going to confuse the more mainstream population.
I don't really see it as a segmentation of user base if everyone has the means to buy any game with any controller scheme considering every one with a wiiu will have a tablet controller, and(even if they don't include a wiimote) most people already have wii so they will have access to that. I agree that it may cause confusion to devs and publishers as to which to support, but then again, nintendo has been touting this assymetrical gameplay so they will most likely support both.
I'm that shouldn't be a HUGE deal, but I do see your concern.
