Looks really good just like the 360 one...

But i doubt it will be as good as the new version of Xbox controller with the new dpad. But who knows it looks identical.

Copying Ps3 controller would be a huge mistake, controller is bad very bad and this one actually seems decent, lets see if it can top the king of controllers.

Good luck Nintendo please blow me away with some megatons!

lmfao. Maybe if you're used to the 360 controller. But even then I don't know why you would its very bad. I see what you're doing here though. You have a history of saying stuff like this. Reported.

its just my opinion. i dont know why you are so upset about it. i dont like ps3 controller and i think its horrible and the worst controller of this gen imo.

Looks alright. Never liked the classic controller on the Wii so this does look more comfortable.

Well, I guess it's everybody's dream. 360 control with the best d-pad

but that's not the vita's dpad :P

uh no. A connected plus d-pad is better.

Vita's dpad is a lot similar to nintendo, a unified cross... so that counts as best too

with a plus d-pad (nintendo) sliding your finger to a different position feels more natural. In fact the plus d-pad is the only one I would truly call a unified cross. Though the vita pad might be unified, they are still separated.

i dont give a.....the WiiU gamepad has everything i need, this pad is usless to me

i believe they introduced it for longer sessions (because of the weight) and for people who like to play maybe games like cod competitive.

Not necessarily. Iwata clearly said this would fix multiplayer gaming issue, mario kart, smash bros, (because a Wii remote is not a viable controller placement and does not have all the buttons the Wii U controller does) and is good for a traditional game fix.

im actually worried on how much it's gonna cost. The controller looks quality, which means a lot more in total cost. Although, we do need a worthy replacement for smash brothers

Gamecube (or SNES) and Xbox

Dualshock ain't nowhere in there (as it shouldn't be)

Its basically a Dualshock controller, the sticks and buttons are just switched from place. The design looks like that of an xbox controller. Gamecube or even a snes(lol) dont even come close.

The shape is taken from the Xbox, the grips fro mthe Gamecube, the face buttons from the SNES

There is literally no part of it that's like the Dualshock except that they both have two control sticks

SNES?  I guess baseball doesn't exist!  Quick, if you want to be innovative, steal from something totally unrelated, and people will love you!  I see what nintendo is doing here...  Even the Wii remote itself is based off baseball.  This has been nintendo's plan all along... ever since the 1st card they printed back in 1889.  They've been trying to get people active for 120 years.

Don't worry, folks, I have a solution... NES, and Sega genesis. Keep playing those!

Sony prolly gonna mimic this :)

360 controller is the best this gen, so no suprises there.

That phrase doesn't always work. This time, Nintendo is obviously the unoriginal one.

OT: Looks very comfortable. I don't see a reason to switch place on the right stick and buttons though. Why not just follow the Gamecube design, Nintendo?

Hopefully, this is all part of the 'developer feedback'.

False. Go back to my photos. Its just the GC controller fused with the SNES/Classic controller. Both of those predate the 360 or even the Xbox1 controller.

All modern "traditional" controllers derive directly from the original NES and the SNES following it.

Anyone who thinks otherwise simply doesn't know their history.

The shape of the controller is definitely reminscent of the 360 pad, but having a d-pad/4-face buttons/shoulder buttons/analog sticks are suddenly things Nintendo didn't pioneer? Gimme a break.

I think the shape is an admission that Microsoft is the big fish in the hardcore market that Nintendo is making concessions towards, but that's just aesthetics.

I think it looks pretty badass. It is obviously inspired by the Xbox360 controller but that one has a great design. This will be great for multi platform games.

Here's hope it will come in different colors. Black / White / Red / Gold or something (That would match the colors of my Wii remotes )

Wait... do my eyes sense a USB port up there? Great stuff!
