i believe sales for GTAIV will be good, yet disappointing when compared to expectations. I also think that the ps3 will gain ground on the 360 this year, so the 360 will only outsell the ps3 version by about 1.5x, kind of a prediction of the hardware ratios at the time of release. I'd expect ~4 million sold in the first month so i guess that means 2.3 on 360 to 1.7 on ps3. there we go, that's my prediction.

cliff notes: 1st month ~4 million total - 2.4 for 360, 1.6 for ps3.

ps3:6.5 million

and first month WW:
360:2.4 million
PS3:1.7 million

i dont know---around 3 mil in the first month for the 360--then 1.5 mil for the ps3

after that expect the legs to really drop off and the game to hit around...5-6 mil combined for life time sales

Good points, people, good points. I'm revising my prediction to 7-8 million lifetime (both platforms) with 1.2 million first month for 360 and 500,000 for PS3.

GTA4 has brand, has BIG fan base, has proved itself.
The game is hyped almost as Halo3.

GTA4 version x360 easy will do 3 mln. Then + 1-2 mln. thnx to brand, hype, fan base. Maybe i overstimated usa sales by 1-1,5 mln., but time will show. =)

you expet it to sell 22 million in NA+europe?thats more then ps2+xbox sales of SA even though those 2 equaled a much higher userbase so i think your prediction is unlikely to happen
