indeed i do,we all go through phases where you don't play for a bit though i'd say,i'm as old as amp too(phew,glad i'm not the only one,kowenicki & d2lewis must be with us too i reckon aswell as oldschoolfool)

the arcade is where we use to go to watch rich kids play video games,but i've had a bbc,spectrum,commodore,amiga,amstrad,PC,megadrive,PS,2,3,,basically i was a raving junkie when nintendo hit town with all the kids so it passed me by ownership but i used to play donkey kong in the arcade,i loved it as with many other games,actually i did have a game & watch,catching people out of buildings i think and playing a friends double screen donkey kong of back then,

anyway,i played a lot of soccer games over the years,i'm also big on fantasy rpg,i'm still in skyrim,i love the fantasy setting,driving & guns and the third person adventure type game by the looks of things,but i'll play anything really,i also like the psn type game like journey,point and click adventures and magic the gathering or strategy where a chess board type battlefield comes alive

i'd probably live in a PC fantasy game if it were possible,it is art to me

edit,have to mention survival horror too like resi evil and silent hill,very big fans,i also got into dead rising(very satisfying and funny delivering zombies)

MGS to Uncharted 3. FFX to Yakuza 4. I love games from the past and in the present. You could say that I'm a gaming junkie.

I dont care what genre I play as long as its fun and thats the bottom line cause I said so.

I certainly did not liken anything to trolling or in any way speak badly about Mafia games. All I said was that on VGC people play sales, partake in Mafia threads, partake in Elimination threads or some like to troll. Just because something is said in the same sentence does not imply that they are the same thing.

Hi, my name is Euphoria14 and I adore video games. Being that I am moving up in age and can be counted amongst the elders (28 years old), I remember the days of the Atari 2600 and NES and have never allowed myself to be handcuffed to one company as I enjoy dabbling in all the industry has to offer. Originally an owner and fan of Nintendo consoles I quickly shifted to SEGA in the early 90's to see what Sonic was all about and I have continued to hop around since.

The systems I have owned are:

Atari 2600, NES, SNES, SEGA Genesis, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance SP, Nintendo DS (x3), PSP, Vita, Playstation, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, XBox360, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, GameGear & have even dabbled a bit in the horrors of the Virtual Boy, although to be honest I REALLY enjoyed playing Mario Tennis on that thing as it allowed me to play in the dark while laying in bed just by placing it over my face.

These days I seem to lean a bit more towards Sony although much of that has to do with them bringing the biggest number of niche titles to my living room. It is something that can change at any time as long as someone else takes the reigns. If I were to pick a favorite genre, even though I play them all, I would have to go with JRPG, even though The Legend of Zelda is my all time favorite franchise since it holds a special place considering I started playing it when I was ~3 or 4 and I did not beat it until I was 21. Yeah, sounds like a long time, but when you have siblings who do not understand the whole reset+power thing, you tend to lose your game progress. Outside of those (2) titles I enjoy games such as Borderlands, Tales of "...", Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Uncharted, Fable: The Lost Chapters, Pokemon, Unreal Tournament & Final Fantasy from I-X.

Oh yeah, can't forget the days of Metal Slug at the arcade or Samurai Showdown and Street Fighter II.
