Hi, my name is Rol and I absolutely adore video games. Being that I am one of the somewhat elder members here (I am almost 30), I remember when it used to be Nintendo or Sega, but now it's Nintendo or nothing.

Systems I have had:

NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, GBC, GBA, DS, 3DS. Plus a PS1 due to circumstance.

I am a huge Nintendo fan, but can appreciate quality games made by anyone as long as they are on Nintendo systems. I also enjoy games of most every genre. Platformers, racing games, action-adventures, shumps and JRPGs all have had their stand out titles. From Super Mario Bros. to Super Mario Galaxy 2. RC Pro Am to GRID. The Legend of Zelda to Okami. Over Horizon to Nanostray 2. Lufia 2 to Xenoblade Chronicles. I love games from the past and in the present. You could say that I'm a gaming junkie.

I certainly did not liken anything to trolling or in any way speak badly about Mafia games. All I said was that on VGC people play sales, partake in Mafia threads, partake in Elimination threads or some like to troll. Just because something is said in the same sentence does not imply that they are the same thing.

You must have missed the Xxain thread yesterday, which is why I mentioned the ones I did.

Hi, my name is Euphoria14 and I adore video games. Being that I am moving up in age and can be counted amongst the elders (28 years old), I remember the days of the Atari 2600 and NES and have never allowed myself to be handcuffed to one company as I enjoy dabbling in all the industry has to offer. Originally an owner and fan of Nintendo consoles I quickly shifted to SEGA in the early 90's to see what Sonic was all about and I have continued to hop around since.

The systems I have owned are:

Atari 2600, NES, SNES, SEGA Genesis, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance SP, Nintendo DS (x3), PSP, Vita, Playstation, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, XBox360, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, GameGear & have even dabbled a bit in the horrors of the Virtual Boy, although to be honest I REALLY enjoyed playing Mario Tennis on that thing as it allowed me to play in the dark while laying in bed just by placing it over my face.

These days I seem to lean a bit more towards Sony although much of that has to do with them bringing the biggest number of niche titles to my living room. It is something that can change at any time as long as someone else takes the reigns. If I were to pick a favorite genre, even though I play them all, I would have to go with JRPG, even though The Legend of Zelda is my all time favorite franchise since it holds a special place considering I started playing it when I was ~3 or 4 and I did not beat it until I was 21. Yeah, sounds like a long time, but when you have siblings who do not understand the whole reset+power thing, you tend to lose your game progress. Outside of those (2) titles I enjoy games such as Borderlands, Tales of "...", Mario Kart, Super Smash Bros, Uncharted, Fable: The Lost Chapters, Pokemon, Unreal Tournament & Final Fantasy from I-X.

Oh yeah, can't forget the days of Metal Slug at the arcade or Samurai Showdown and Street Fighter II.
