1) Top 4 Tied
Final Fantasy VIII Art Design, World, Presentation, My favorite Soundtack, The card game(my favorite minigame in anything), junction system is awesome, multiple ways to get magics, interesting setting. though has some plot holes, it's amazing. It was my first FF.
:Moment, Trying to kill Edea at the end in disc one.
Deus Ex (The ways to approach each situation mixed with character building, combat is a bit clunky)
:Saving The helicopter pilot, but shooting someone because they're suspicios :P
Mario 64 (The exploration/slight puzzles and atmosphere is amazing, though camera is wonky)
:Shooting yourself in a canon flying around with a wing cap
Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Great mix of atmosphere, a story that fits the game, fun puzzles going between old/young link, negatives are the water temple :P)
:Seeing that Princess Ruto, or zelda all growed up.
5) Final Fantasy X-2 International. This game is so much fun, it is extremely silly. And hated on but IDC, this is possibly the most fun game I have ever played from a pure fun standpoint. Has a lot of really fun minigames. My favorite battle-system, Job system. Mission based, while not making everything feel completely modular. My favorite JRPG gameplay. It's negatives are it's really girly/poppy/fanservicy.
:Yuna Dressed as a Moogle
There's technically 2 this gen, that I like as much as FFX-2, they are Deus Ex Human Revolution, and Demon Soul's. However, I have to continue to feel that way about them for a few more years before I'll say they are in my top 5.
