it's a no-brainer of a recommendation. Yes, the story still has its share of silliness and deus ex machinas -- it is a JRPG, after all -- and sometimes the unending chattiness of the violently British voice actors during battle can be a little bit annoying. But these are miniscule flaws when looking at the big picture Xenoblade presents: a charming cast of characters that interact constantly, a uniquely designed and fascinating setting, forward-thinking gameplay systems that combine the best of East and West, and the exhilarating feeling that comes from taking part in an adventure that feels truly epic. Xenoblade more than atones for the sins of its fathers and shouldn't be missed by anyone who appreciates role-playing games of any shade.

woohoo! I could send someone to Gamestop and bought the game for me! Only bad thing is I have a lot of pending games and will be probably playing it until next year lol. Just kidding, but I'd like to finish Zelda first :p

I'm interested in the game but I have a feeling this game is overhyped by nintendo fans since it seems like the only good game to come their way on the wii since November. I will wait for the always fair and balanced gamespot review and yahoo article.

This reminds me of their... "excellent" Skyward Sword review...

And the game isn't overhyped; it's just that good. Any fan of JRPG's needs to get it!

Xenoblade Chronicles is such a huge, complex, and epic game that I can't possibly cover everything it offers in a single review. All I can say is that it has earned the first 5.0 score I've given, and I've had the honor to play quite a few excellent games for review.

Not only the best RPG this generation, but it's also my favorite game on the Nintendo Wii. If you like RPGs, then you own it to yourself to buy this limited time gem of a game. The world and story of Xenoblade Chronicles is one of the most profound gaming experiences in recent years.

I will wait for the US review. The review you showed me was from the UK gamespot. The tastes of a UK gamer may not be in tune with the tastes of an american gamer therefore I will have to wait for a more reliable American reviewer whose tastes are better matched to mine because we were born in roughly the same geographical region.

What if they don't remake the review because they agree with the original one?, what happens then?. Just look at the metacritic score, so many reviewers can not be hyped for the game or be considered fanboys.
