Forums - Nintendo - EVEN MORE Xenoblade reviews? Still looking promising!

I predict that with 200 thousand pre-order sales alone ( aboutish) they will be ordering extra stock. Just a prediction :)

Definitely, but they'll probably still be too few to go around. If you want it, best to pre-order it IMO, to be on the safe side.

@Conegamer

I can't preorder it because I don't live in the US, but I may go in the weekend and look for it. Another possibility is to order it from Nintendo directly but I'm not sure they can send it to a Pobox?

Castlevania Judgment FC:     1161 - 3389 - 1512

3DS Friend Code:   3480-2746-6289

Wii Friend Code: 4268-9719-1932-3069

With so few days left to the launch, I feel like throwing down some pretty interesting statistics about the scope of the side-content in the game...

479 Quests
344 affinity links
310 Items
165 named-NPC's
157 Unique Enemies (non-story bosses)
150 Record- achievements
63 Heart-To-Hearts
50 Trial-achievements

If anyone had any doubt of just how much extra stuff there is, look no further!

I don't know about that, you'd have to ask them directly.

Best bet is to go into a large store at the weekend, they'll likely have extra copies!

Actually, there are 479 quests (including story quests). You probably got your number from the Google doc which for some odd reason misses the three Challenge quests in Frontier Village.

Not sure where you got the number of affinity links from, but I'd like to see that.

Also, there are 150 Record-achievements.

Yeah, I used the Google doc. Thanks for the heads-up!

I got the number of affinity links by using 3 different pictures of 'complete' affinity links from Google, and my own (because certain decisions to move to Colony 6 create different links etc.)

Actually, depending on what you do, will change the different affinity levels.

150 records, eh? I counted 140 the first time, but I've checked again now and yes, there are indeed 150, bringing the total number up to 200 achievements.

(Note- one of these pictures are here. It clearly isn't complete, simply looking at Bana at the bottom will tell you that, but it's pretty good for an idea of the complexity of the game, for anyone who's interested...:

You won't help sales and miss out on all the hype!

Okay, I see. I thought you had found a good source for the whole affinity thing, but it's just a lot of guesswork. I have everyone linked with at least two other persons, except for four or five people (usually the either or Colony 6 choices).

I've been looking for months for a solid source for this. If I can one for this, I'll happily change it, but the number seems fairly reliable. Since each link needs to be connected to 2 people, it seems logical it's roughly that (I have 246 affinity links in my game BTW, 3 red links sadly...)

Well, I have all of Friday off... so I suspect that I'll be spending most of that time playing this game. I'm really hoping I'll enjoy it, as JRPG's aren't my favorite genre out there... but what I've been seeing (real-time, engaging battles, lots of exploration and gorgeous environments) has me actually excited to play.

Hoping for the best. *crosses fingers*

I just gotta get this game :P is the voice acting new for the american version?!

As far as I'm aware, it's the same. But that doesn't matter because the voice acting is amazing anyway as can be seen in the video review), and you can just change to Japanese audio is you dislike it for some reason anyway.

I for one am glad that they kept the UK voices, adds a cool little touch to the game for us idiot Americans.  Also, British vulgarity is much more impressive than American vulgarity, and I am hoping to pick up some new insults from this game.

Friday can't come fast enough, yay!

Not to rain on the parade but this "statistic" list given is kinda inaccurate.

479 Quests - I hope you like about 10 quests, because out of this "479" that's about all the variations you're going to get. Kill XX monsters, Kill XX monsters for X item's, Talk to this NPC, Hit this monument, Gather XX materials from the mini blue orbs on the field, Kill X NM. They really dropped the ball with this.

344 affinity links - These are cool, and you can unlock some pretty sick traits.

310 Items - Lots of items, but a lot of them are pretty useless.

165 named NPC's - True, LOADS of NPCs.

157 Unique Enemies (non-story bosses) - Yeah, this one is way off. There's more like 30 "unique" monsters. Add in 5/6 variations for every single monster and you hit this figure.

150 Record- achievements - Trophy whores rejoice.

63 Heart-To-Hearts - These are actually semi decent, but in the grand scheme of things not really worth it because the mini conversations are so short.

50 Trial-achievements - More trophy whoring :D

again, AMAZING game, but it's not perfect. So please don't expect it to be.
