^ Ugh why did you have to remind me of that movie. The trailer is funny, could not make it through the second one, it's just too horrible.

^ nothing can describe how awful it is.

theres nothing to watch.. its time for some UFO footage

I watched Ender's game again, on blu-ray this time. The movie grew a bit on me, looks and sounds awesome on blu-ray, the extras were good too. For all the complex rigs they made for Gravity, in Ender's game they simply stuck the actors at the end of a boom with a counter weight and let them do their stuff. And Ender's game actually used a much bigger light box with lots of programmable light bars.
I give it a 7/10 now.

I made it through my back log, what should I give a second viewing tonight.
Looper, Sunshine or Total recall (first one) or maybe not sci-fi at all.

^ Good choice, still great 8/10
It's the movie that got me into wanting a projector. I don't think I had watched it yet on blu-ray, I picked it up cheap a while ago. It's the old version, replaced by a brand new transfer last year (mind bending edition). This one is mpeg-2 with DTS-HD hi-res 6.1. It doesn't look that bad for mpeg-2, big improvement over how I remember the dvd, yet colors and contrast are still lacking. It doesn't matter that much for the movie, sets are fairly basic (add lots of steam vents for extra detail) and the special effects already stand out.

Fun movie, posing some nice questions along the way. "A man is defined by his actions, not his memory", then Houser/Quaid's memories define his actions for the rest of the movie... Arnold is in his prime and Sharon Stone still  looks cute.

Tough marriage

total recall is a no brainer.

dawn of the planet of the apes 90 metascore for now.

I tried to watch the double it reminded me too much of enemy it was killiing me but I'll give it another chance..

Speaking of Dawn of the Planet of the Apes I finally watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes very good movie good special effects also even though you could tell all the apes where CGI. I give it a 8/10. Also watched Tears of the Sun which is decent I give that one a 6.5/10 and also watched the first Despicable Me movie that one is pretty good I give it a 7.5/10 really liked the music in the movie also liked the animation the plot was a bit on the simple side.
