Forums - General - KONY 2012: Bring a war criminal to justice campaign : What do you think about this ?

@Soundwave. So true. Imagine if during the days of black peoples' rights in Martin Luther King Jr.'s day, some white folks, in solidarity, were sharing newsflashes from the community, and others whites were telling them: "oh, now you care?".

I'm sure most of the world's success stories (Ghandi, Black Liberation) were built over spreading the cause and awareness, then subsequently rallying people.

I've probably done more to help people than you will ever do in your life but you don't see me walking around calling everyone ignorant fucks just because they know less about world issues than me.

I must have railed a broomstick up your asshole really hard back in the day (sorry if you thought i'd remember someone on the internet, but I'm glad you rememebr me) for you to make such a post that's lacking even an inkling of intellect in it.

Did you lube it first?

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

I think it's an unworthy cause. The idea of America intervening and arming an African nation like Uganda or its neighbours is a bad one and is terribly over-simplified in the film. That this might be achieved by people watching a biased, 30 minute video they find linked on Rihanna's twitter feed is downright scary.

That said, criticising people for only caring about something after they find out about it is stupid. It's like that stupid maddox guy's idiot opinion about Christopher Reeves from when the internet started. Anyone else remember that? No?

Also, the film is pretty shit. Takes too long to get to the point and the first minute or so is downright embarrassing, not to mention the lack of important information

I may not have. Apparently, there might have been some splinters too.

i'll post this again on this thread

USA should not stick their noses in more shit than they can handle, they're already in deep shit as it is, this is UGANDA not USA, and uganda and the whole of africa had this shit in ages, are they trying to pull another "war against terrorism" ? PS: Uganda doesn't have that much oil so try to frame some other country, if you want to do this crap , target sudan, they have oil and they're poor people who love peace.... BUT NO! "Sand niggers" are terrorists! oil!

there are billions of these kinds of people in Africa and the middle east, and also in south america , USA should not go on places they can never seem to understand with their ignorance of what is right and wrong, and then wonder why everyone in the world hates them.

just Shut the fuck up and shit down, deal with your own problems first.

@bold. That is the most f'ed-up stuff I've ever heard...

@italics. The BIG difference between going to IRAQ and going to a place like Uganda is that one was for American interests, while the other is not, and the world community is not as stupid as you make it out to be. Also, the appeal is not to just go out and send troops to bomb the place. It's to bring strategists to aid LOCAL armies to do the jobs themselves.

---------------

If you don't have your facts straight, AND you're spewing filth, then you make absolutely no sense whatsoever.

You're being very optimistic, its not black and white, no bad guy and good guy ,I'm not spewing filth, I am talking about experience.

what was the american interest that lead them to go to Iraq?

@bold. I think in Iraq the vested interest was mostly oil, and possible instability in the middle east. The Zionist party is strong in the US, as well as a need for natural resources.

That's my thought. I may be wrong though. Mind you, the vested interest is a certainty. I'm just not sure as to the what.

their interest is oil and remove the old law so that more extremists show up and then they're going to sell them weapons.

of course no one does it because its a good thing to do, its just for the profit, same will happen to uganda , remove regime , act like you are doing it for good, secure oil , conquer, smash, trash then sell them weapons and watch it burn while your state gets more powerful, oldest trick in the book, "divide and conquer"

Edit: LOL now that i think about it, Activision should make a new call of duty set in Uganda, that will sell a bunch of millions for patriotic idiots.... or get beaten by Far Cry 3
