Forums - PC - Skyrim Steamworks Mods - Which are you using?

1. and 6. sound really nice.

Though big problem for 1. is that rather important people could get killed more easily. Especially when a dragon attacks.

Haven't tested it but I like the idea of this one:
World Map in full 3D

I wish there were mods that would change the game to be more like Oblivion. I think there's a few in the works but not many released so far.

50% Faster Cell Respawn: repopulates the world and dungeons faster

Dynamic Merchants: Makes it so more you trade with a merchant more money they have, later stock levels and item availability will be tied in

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=8379

Shadow Striping Fix: fixes the shadow striping caused by lights such as the Breezehome fire pit, not blocky ness tho unfortunately

Not on Steam Workshop

RWT Realistic Water Textures: Higher resolution water and more "realistic" water

Kerplunk - Watery Rocks

I'm starting to look for some more gameplay mods now that I have played a lot of vinila, I also have a few smaller tweaks and fixes but they aren't worth posting IMO, I'm also using House Map Markers lol

Check out my hype threads: Cyberpunk, and The Witcher 3!

38 of them. I had to pry myself away from the Workshop so I could actually try the game out!

Some of my favourites:

Alternate Start is a godsend. It allows you to skip the whole tedious Helgen sequence with the long conversations and death row and confusing hiking through ruins, and start pretty much wherever you like. I chose to start as a soldier in the Stormcloak's army, and I spawned in Windhelm. It's easy enough to do the main quest: you just go to Helgen, kill one guy, pick up a diary and head to Whiterun to continue.

Legible Road Signs is self-explanatory but it's great not to have to check your map constantly.

And a fun one: Divine Punishment for mention of arrows in the knee simply causes any guard who says that awful line to be struck by lightning and killed.

The trouble with Open Cities is that you need a supercomputer to run it at more than 10fps. It's really not worth it for the benefit of getting rid of a few loading times.

I didn't seem to suffer much of a performance hit with Open Cities actually and I would classify my machine as pretty standard fare as far as modern gaming rigs are concerned. I have, however, suffered major slowdowns and crashes on my first character with my latest splurge of adding mods to my game so I'm spending some time testing each of them out to see what the cause of the problem is.

I was having this too, but I uninstalled the Texture Pack (one of the first mods I got, a Nexus one) and that somehow fixed it.
