It's not recognized as a religon anywhere. :p |
But it's at least closer to an actual religion than in Germany and mostly other parts of Europe.

I understand what you're saying. As ridiculed as itis in America, it's technically correct that it's considered a religon.
True story. I once was in downtown Los Angeles and saw this massive 5 or 6 story building with a giant cross on the top of it. I thought that it was a hospital. It turns oujt that it was the Church of Scientology. So as much as I dismiss it, it does have to have an awful lot of money coming in to support a church of that size.

@Amp, thats because your advancement throught the church of scientology depends on how much money you give, and morons like tom cruise have given millions...

My prediction threads:
Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)
PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)
Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right

They believe that their 'jesus equivalent', Xenu, was the leader of 'the galactic confederacy' and 75 million years ago he brought billions of his people to earth in a DC-8 type spacecraft, stacked them around volcanoes and killed them using hydrogen bombs. Which, to me, sounds more realistic than what most christians believe, but what does vgchartz think about scientology, hm?

ok ok but these would have to have a history as well before comming to the earth right? so, maybe they have some equvalent religion and then they came to earth? which would be not as realistic as what "we" believe.
i mean it's nothing else like saying that we learn to build something like that and flying to other planets to do that with a man called "michael" but this would still doesn't change the "normal" religions on our planet right? i bet xenu was gods son as well then^^
i mean what do they think what these intergalactic aliens believed in? in nothing? i don't believe all these aliens wouldn't have believed in anything. every culture believes in something just look at all these freaking tribes on this planet they all believe or did believe in something godlike.

Well if you can have a relgion about filesharing (sweden) why not this one.
not a big fan of it and I know this relgion caused an diplomatic problem between USA and a few EU countries like France/Belgium./germany. because they were on their way to banning it.

I can see the legal basis for denying it religious status, given the monetary requirement for members, it functionally acts more like a club or some sort of therapeutic treatment organization than a religion, and if you determine that said organization is a scam, you can ban it for popular safety.

yeah i mean seeing how they try to get all the rich people to convert to their "religion" is a huge difference to thousands of other stupid religions which are just stupid without losing all you money to that.
religion is for the weak minded...just go do ur crap and be done with it. dont spend all ur sundays being sheeps...waste of epic gaming time!
