Scientology, seems far more plausible then the major religions in the western world to me.

Scientology is a cross between science fiction and religion.
Critics of scientology regard it as more of a cult than a religion.
Scientology has been highly controversial and has copped a lot of negative media coverage.

I think it's hilarious, and I think it's hilarious that the Christians and Muslims in my school think it's hilarious.

I'm glad it's not recognized as a religion here in Germany and I hope it never will.

Actually, the guy that started Scientology tried his hand at science fiction later.  He wrote Battlefield Earth which was adapted into the worst movie ever starring known Scientologist John Travolta.
