especially on ps3

2 things.  last year alot of people sat on the fence with kinect.   so this year with the kick ass bundles and credits people have decided to take the plunge.  another thing theres also now the novelty of the dashboard.   xbox movies > bing jennifer lopez is quite impressive.

this weeks charts will be very curious microsoft itself is adding $100 credits to the bundles.   i think they are really going after that title however the big gains in the US always loses 200k worldwide.  so they will fall short by 3-400k.  i still think if kinect star wars would have came out  (before dancing with the star wars) it would have push GOW3 numbers or more eclipsing the PS3.

DS tops 50M in US alone, also I prediced about 950K for wii this week, it may do over 1M though. 50K from Japan, 80K from other america's and maybe about 350K from Europe to make it to 950K.

So... people here expect PS3 to be down in NPD December.

NPD for 360 will be big, close to 3M, and Wii 1.5M

No one said that. No one expects that the PS3 will duplicate the November increase it had.  It will be up, just not as much as November.  I think what VGC is showing that PS3 increased was dominated by a bundle that was only available Black Friday weekend for $200.00.  Perhaps if Sony had made the bundle for the whole holiday season and did some gift card deals with retailers the huge increase could have continued. Otherwise just the increase you are seeing, which is pretty darn good if you ask me. I am actually surprised with the deals from last week that the PS3 did as close to the 360 as it did.  Maybe NPD in January will show otherwise.

And the funny thing is....they saved their price cut for 2012. PS3 doesnt have a chance
