IGN's opinion articles are often rubbish, but their reviews and GOTY are generally pretty good. Gamespot troll for hits.

I must say I love seeing To the Moon win something like Best Story. We've considered adding a category for story, for some reason it seems like it'll be tough to come to a consensus on.

Best Boss Battles for Dark Souls is also a well earned award that I don't see at many other sites.

I think that with best graphics they took PC games into account in which case crysis 2 and battlefield 3 were clearly a lot better looking.

I don't see any other catagories that uncharted 3 clearly should have won. There was just a lot of competition this year. Yes personally someone might prefer uncharted to gears as a shooter, or to battlefield 3 for competitive multiplayer, or to portal 2 for best ps3 game, but its not like uncharted was the obvious winner of any of those catagories to everyone.

The only thing that bothers me is multiplatform games are winning best games on a specific console. They shouldn't be nominated period. Why make a best 360 and best ps3 game catagory when both have nearly identical nominees. That should be reserved for only exclusives and MAYBE I would understand if they included a game that was clearly significantly better on one of the two platforms, like bayonetta on the 360 was last year.

at least the got one ting right, and put Killzone 3 on the list. strangely most sites seem to be missing it, even though it is the 2nd best graphical game of not only this year but out of all time on console, and by some margin.
graphics of the year lists without Uncharted 3 and Killzone 3 are laughable. (especially without Uncharted 3)

OMG they didn't nominate uncharted 3 and they gave demon souls GOTY but not uncharted 2? BLASPHMEY! There is only on logical explanation for this evil deed they hate uncharted!

GS gave Uncharted 2 a 9.5 and Uncharted a 9.0; they don't seem like haters to me.

I finished U3 last night, and I wasn't impressed by it. It's too scripted for my taste.

GS gave Uncharted 2 a 9.5 and Uncharted a 9.0; they don't seem like haters to me.

I finished U3 last night, and I wasn't impressed by it. It's too scripted for my taste.

The thing is, there's only one guy that reviews each game for them so judging from the site's scoring isn't a good way to determine if all of the other editors like Uncharted or not.

So whats the point your trying to make Gamespot is not a cerditable site because they dont ride the Uncharted bandwagon? At least they are better than IGN and gametrailers.

No point actually. Just pointing out that the lack of recognition for Uncharted on GS is sorely disappointing

Maybe the other editors thought other games were more deserving than U3. They even stated that it wasn't easy eliminating Uncharted 3 from the nomination list. And I would agree with them.
