there's a lot of ads for both Mario and Zelda in the UK
considering that, these sales are terrible
it is normal for SS, cause it's a long time since the last ''best selling'' hard core Wii game
now Mario, i think legs will make up for this launch, cause it's a really great game

Worse for Zelda. I can understand mario with the low hardware base but Zelda is inexcusable. Hopefully second week they both do well

i think for both of those franchises' best markets are the USA so don't despair yet...
and for halo, it's an HD remake. I think the only one that did particularly well was the first GoW collection...after that the novelty of rebuying classics in HD seems to be wearing off. ...or probably more appropriately -- there has been waaay to many HD remakes:

Wow horrible sales of Halo. I honestly thought Halo remake would sell 4-5 million lifetime.
Yes halo bombed, after the not so good Halo reach numbers (overtracked here a lot on vgchartz), it looks like the series is on the slide. Nintendo needs the Wii U ASAP.
I expect mario 3ds will sell a long time so nintendo wont be to worried about that.

Terrible opening numbers in the UK for Zelda 2 day sales or not. Especially given the hype that has been around it. Hopefully the numbers make up for it in the US

CEA is what remakes should be, rather than just upscaled HD ports of the original game, that list effectively brings PS2 compatibility to PS3.
