Well I know I'm over reacting a bit but then again it's Halo. And Halo sales in UK and U.S.A. are pretty similar (percentage of buyers). So don't expect much from the U.S. either 500k tops in U.S. and 300k for Zelda I guess. Wii is really doomed

Surprised to see AC:R on 360 outsell AC:R/MW3 on PS3, I know there is a difference in install base, but there is also a drastic difference in popularity, advertising etc and isn't 360 a "shooter box" anyway ;_;

While the UK is currently 360 land, wait until you see American numbers for it. It's gonna be a Million seller easy.

Gosh these pre orders have turned out to be so inaccurate so many times me and many others just gave up on them

name 10 instances where it has been "so inaccurate" please =). So far this year to my knowledge other than homefront every single game was within reasonable increase from their preorders and not one game had first week sales lower than preorder numbers. I would say thats incredibly accurate considering the hundreds of games they attempt to track preorders of. But I do agree those are pitiful numbers for zelda and halo in the uk.

Zelda and Mario only released on Friday, meaning their sales positions are representative of sales over a weekend. Games like Halo and Assassin's Creed launched on the Tuesday, therefore having more time to sell.

I expect both Zelda and Mario will sell well consistently across this Christmas season, really.

Yep, Zelda had the best review in almost all magazine around. not lots of Adverstisment as Super Mario but lots.
