Awful Zelda and Halo numbers, Mario will be fine in the long run.

Anyway as far as Zelda/Mario goes they only went on sale friday in the UK. Now that is the traditional day for new releases but Halo, Assassins Creed and COD (the previous week) to my knowledge went on sale Tuesday. The reason for this is UK charts are run from Monday to Sunday, if a company releases a game on Tuesday they have a much higher chance of getting number 1. Not that COD needed this help

Regardless of this No.7 for Zelda = poor sales

Also Batman and Uncharted released earlier in the week, on a wednesday if i remember correctly.

I think this will definitely become a trend in the future.

look at the ratio

COD BO vgchartz 1% more than NPD

 halo reach vgchartz 44% more than NPD

Massive difference, Either BOD BO is massively undertracked or Reach is massively overtracked or a bit of both.

NPD doesnt track all of Americas nor does it include those bundled with hardware.

I now hope they take out the bundle sales for reach from the total. It sets the bar too high for halo 4 lol
