Forums - Gaming - So. 3DS vs Vita, now what?

Similar lineups, similar pricing. Nintendo does have the history of being able to dig themselves out of trouble with good software, but Sony seems to finally be bringing their A-game to handheld development. Pokemon could obviously crush anything Sony could come up with, but the game looks very different at that price point alone

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

its really simple: 3DS is going to Dreamcast there self away, sure nintendo will still release some games but who is going to buy an 3DS when they can buy an PSV for the same price and is getting better games and better support from Japanese and western developers.

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

Nintendo Got Pwned.

What are PSPS2s specs? When I see em I can make a decision.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Um you do know nintendo has about a profit margin of 100-150 on the devices, and can easily afford a price drop. Right now the third party line-up is not as solid for either. I am wait and see kind of a guy, and honestly Nintendo has decent line-up first party, and so does sony. I am sold on both devices, but to act like one is dead, is jumping the gun, while the other hasn't even launched.

The 3Ds looks dated and expensive.

Ummm... PSV getting better support? I don't see that anywhere.

Far superior to 3DS', that's for certain

And we have to remember, people, that we actually had the 360 undercut the Wii on price at one point, which didn't make a lick of difference at the time. Consumers don't seem to equate value in an apples to apples way in this industry

Both have the same price so now the battle is only about software. Nintendo has Mario and Pokemon but an exclusive Call of Duty and an exclusive Monster Hunter both for the Vita can make this battle really exciting!
