This is the biggest game so far this gen both in sales and quality in my opinion.

ROFL what? How can you claim that when it hasn't even been released yet? You Sony Defense Force kids always give me a chuckle. GT5 won't sell half of what Mario Kart Wii has sold. Even if 50% of all PS3 owners buy GT5, it still won't match MK Wii.

AAAAAHahahAHAHAHAhaha. Epic fanboyism.

You entered a thread about the content in Gran Turismo 5, to laugh at someones opinion on its selling potential. And call someone a "Sony Defense Force Kid".

And you call him out for "epic fanboyism"?

Go-Karts?!?  Are you serious?  Holy crap!  With NASCAR and now go-karts I will definitely have to get this.  Now, is it going to be like Mario Kart Wii or more sim-like?  I'm guessing the second option.

Just pointing out that the 70 tracks figure is misleading. Polyphony tends to count reverse and shortened/special course variants as courses. I don't know how many unique race tracks there are, but I'd guess 25-30 not counting PD's fictional test courses.

Actually, if you take a look at the right side of tracks scan, you'll see all 70 tracks there. GT5 has both the tracks from GT4 and GT:PSP. It does indeed have shortened/special variants of the tracks, but there's more than just 30 unique race tracks there.

If you count reverse, then you'll have over 100 track layouts and dispositions available to race.

Still no Submarines, WTF is this crap? PD is getting lazy

Thats being saved for GT6 where PD will also design 70 underwater tracks.

Man, I wonder how long it will take me to complete GT5 (I try to collect avery car in GT games). GT3 took me something like 3 years to finish completely. One thing is for sure though, I will finish GT5.

What, no Landspeeder or Flinstones Car? Meh...

Now seriously, this game looks huge. I may borrow a PS3 just for this baby.

Actually, GT3 did take me longer to fully complete than GT4, even though it had less cars and tracks. It was the damn random prize system that always screwed me over from getting the final cars >_>

So let me get this straight.

5 games in 1 for the price of 60? With DLC that will be added later and special preorder bonuses

OMG, looks like 6 years was definitely worth the wait.

I see that now, yeah, didn't realize there were that many tracks. Still less than 70 unique tracks, but yeah, definately more than 30.

I doubt that it is misleading considering that there are at least 22 tracks in NASCAR alone.
