I will say this, he really is trying to use any excuse he can find to "down" play the importance of blu-ray as a media format. He says nothing of the sort.  Only the stuff in quotation marks are his words (assuming the reporter doesn't totally fail in using direct quotes).

I'd suspect this is a bad edit job where the quote is used improperly and it wasn't caught.  Greenberg knows exactly where he is at worldwide - there's pin and there's just stupid.  Greenberg spins, as that is his job, after all, but he is not an idiot.

On second thought, this HAS to be a misquote, given it wasn't quoted.
