I love how selnor concludes this is the best looking console game based on a few bullshots.

I most likely won't get to play this unless it comes to PC which is extremely unlikely at this point. I loved Death Rally and both Max Payne games. Damnit Remedy >.>

Thing that gets me is you said not too long ago that you were going to stop doing this when it comes to images because they're always bullshots, and you kept to that for a while and only allowed yourself to make these types of threads for trailers.  Seems you can't help yourself though.

No, he's right. It's great that you support the console you like, but stop waging some silly war. Be enthusiastic without being condescending, and please be realistic. You clearly are not someone who spends much time following the advancement of graphics, and that's fine. Not everyone has to understand every minutia about what makes one game more graphically advanced than another, but you keep making threads with absolute statements that look ridiculous, when you can't possibly identify the graphical effects that you would need to back up your claim. You're spawning list wars and silly screenshot comparisons between people who will never change their mind and don't understand what they're arguing about anyway.

On the topic of the game, it has incredible atmosphere and lighting. It's not the top of console graphics from a technical standpoint.

All of those screens are totally fantastic and each one shows it's own aspect of the beautiful graphics quality.

If these truly represent the final game, then I agree that Alan Wake will be the best looking console game.

I can tell some are from posts in this thread. Neutrals, PS3 fans and 360 fans... People mock you for it all the time for it.

Green - Find me the last 3 threads with Sony fans claiming best graphics ever. Please, do it. And then i will find you the last 3 threads from 360 fans claiming best graphics ever.

You keep making these threads based on screens. You make list wars out of these and provoke people into flaming you and mocking you. Is that really what you want? Can't you just make a thread... For once... Without bringing up the "Best i've ever seen!" thing? It would make life a lot easier, more people would agree with you and your threads wouldnt straight away turn into PS3 vs 360 threads.

Only the first one is actual gameplay, and yes it looks gr8, but not as gr8 as ur trying to point out.

Nobody bats an eyelid because their jaws are too busy hitting the floor. I mean seriously, Sony fans went on about KZ2 and UC2 last year and at the end of the year everybody agreed that the best game graphically of the generation was either one of them. None of the games you've proclaimed as having the best graphics have lived up to your lofty hype. 

I'm shocked this thread has gone this far without CGI coming in here to inform Selnor of a game called Heavy Rain.
On topic selnor you have been making these threads for far too many games for people to really take you serious anymore. I mean this time you have a point but you could have gone about it a different way.

Thats because it isn't the best looking console game. Heavy Rain has too many low texture items, but the character modelling is the best I've seen. IMO God of War 3 is now the king of console graphics after seeing the Vengance Trailer.
