Hello all. :) Welcome to the 2026 OpenCritic Prediction League! Before proceeding with this thread, I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the previous user in charge of this league, @UnderwaterFunktown, for not only his gestures of faith and patience in mentorship (including e.g. the games chosen for this prediction league), but also for all his contributions to this league. It's hard work, I've come to learn, and his labors are much deserving of appreciation. It is an honor to carry the tradition, and my only hope is to serve as an adequate and worthy successor. I've got lots of ideas saved for the future!... but for this year, let's stick with a more traditional approach.
Referencing last year's thread: The hope is to include the biggest/most noteworthy 1-3 games per month regardless of platform except perhaps January and December which are always a bit light on releases, but since releases are rarely evenly distributed across the year and most of the release dates we know at the moment are all in February and March we'll just see how that goes.
And, Without Further Ado, Here Are The Games!

FAQ.
Q: How often will points be tallied? Points will be tallied on the last day of every month. No sooner, no later; no exception. Releases from all throughout the year (not just from the month during which points are tallied) will be retallied according to how their OpenCritic score has changed.
Q: After how many reviews can I still post a prediction? You may adjust your predictions up until at least three reviews from major publications (where a "major publication" refers to any site with enough credential to have been included in OpenCritic/MetaCritic review pools for past games) have become publicly available, whether officially or not.
Q: Do I have to make a prediction on every title? No.
Q: Can I join the league after the season has already started? Yes, everyone is welcome (and encouraged!) to join the prediction league, whether in January or in December (and anytime in between). The only consequence of joining late will be the disadvantage of having less overall points, and thereby not ranking as highly in the league for that year.
Q: How does scoring work? Please reference the below table:
| Prediction same as actual score | 10pts |
| 1pt difference | 9pts |
| 2pt difference | 8pts |
| 3pts difference | 7pts |
| 4pts difference | 6pts |
| 5pts difference | 5pts |
| 6pts difference | 4pts |
| 7pts difference | 3pts |
| 8pts difference | 2pts |
| 9pts difference | 1pts |
| 10pts difference or more | 0pts |
| Closest prediction bonus | +2pts |
