It will definitely break the 100 million mark, but the question is how far it will go after that. We must remember that the first couple of years for PS5, it had to deal with supply issues, and still it's over 43 million already.

Also, we don't know if this gen will last longer than the usual 6-7 years, so there are some factors.

I would say 100-120 million.

80 - 100 Mil tops

If I had to guess now, 130-140 million.
I expect this gen will last longer than the 8th, Xbox offers barely any competition, and the market should grow over last gen just as it grew over the 7th.

120 is in the cards with a longer generation. But I see a ceiling at 140. My bet would be 125.

I'm adjusting my original 130-140 million prediction down to 120 million. It really sucks but production costs are hardly going down. Sony raised the prices of games, subscription services, and consoles. In doing that, they'll be losing a ton of players and potential buyers to PC.

I'll go with 110 to 120.
