Could the Spiderman-game be the most successful title from the West this year ? @ Japan
Let's see how high Red Dead Redemption 2 and the new Call of Duty-game in Japan are being sold on PS4. The next 2-3 weeks are exciting :)

Took this from Era. Looks like this is just below the era of the very strong Wii/DS era, but huge step up from 3DS/WiiU Era, which is amazingly awesome.

Ouch at those PS4 sales, that's getting real low now.
Xbox One one the other hand... wtf happened there to get such an immense boost?
Switch OK sales after SMP, but I'm surely not the only one who hoped more this week.

PS4.... Wtf

Switch regaining momentum and should just keep going up for the rest of the year. It's not like MP is bundled and MP is a marathon runner anyway.

A little boost from SMP. Above baseline for NSW and below for PS4

Here is the week 40 update in terms of the two big consoles in Japan's path to be able to reach the commonly stated (in these sales threads) estimates for 2018 sales (2 mil for PS4, 4 mil for Switch) .

TWS GD YTD % Goal AWN (Change)
PS4 14,065 -44,113 1,257,750 62.9% 61,854 (+3676)
Switch 45,762 -121,878 1,866,433 46.7% 177,797 (+10157)

TWS - This week's sales
GD - Goal differential, the difference between the average week needed from last week compared to this week's sales
YTD - Units sold in 2018 so far including this week's sales
AWN - Average weekly sales needed to reach the estimate for the console.

Slight Switch bump and big PS4 decrease this week. Both systems are rapidly increasing their AWN and I think it's getting truly out of hand. Next week should prove more interesting for the PS4 as we'll see what bump if any there is for the PS4 pro pricecut.

Decent opening for Super Mario Party.
PS4's drop is pretty normal, the price cut for the Pro model will take effect on October 12.
Not good for Megaman.

I imagine the bulk of Mega man sales being digital. However even double those numbers are a bit concerning.
