Until Sony reveals all of their cards, people are only going to base their impressions off of what information we currently have on the PS4. So far they've said that they're working on creating a more developer-friendly console, reaching out to indie developers, releasing exclusives, believing that streaming and sharing will become a more integral part of gaming, and more generally, that gaming will be their focus, which are ideas that aren't really controversial in any way.
With that said, people are definitely waiting to see more information, especially regarding pricing, the blocking of used games, always-online requirements, whether or not online multiplayer remains free, and so on. I'm almost certain that someone who is against always online, the blocking of used games, or pay-to-play-online is going to be disappointed if Sony follows Microsoft in these regards, and will likely gravitate towards PC or Nintendo.
