Hey everyone! I'm typically not one for self-promotion, but I wanted to take some time today to celebrate my 10th VGChartz anniversary with you all. Back on September 18, 2012, I decided to make a VGChartz account, after a few months of lurking. I was living overseas at the time, and was especially eager to talk all things video games. I'm glad I finally took the plunge, because the last 10 years have been really special for me. Being surrounded by like-minded video game enthusiasts has been huge, since I don't really have that community around me in person. Plus, I've discovered ways to express myself creatively and made some great friends along the way.
To that end, I'd like to thank the following folks:

This list represents only a fraction of the generous, kind, funny, weird, and passionate people I've had the pleasure to meet over the last 10 years. If I missed any names, I apologize.
In addition to all these "thank you" notes, I wanted to share a few things from the last 10 years for which I'm particularly proud:
- My official Zelda thread, which will celebrate 10 years in January. Zelda has always been my favorite franchise, and I feel lucky to be able to host a platform for an endless conversation around it. Big thanks to all the members who have kept it afloat over the last nine years.
- In the same vein, my Zelda replay series. This one has sputtered a bit (don't worry I'm playing Majora's Mask as we speak) but I am committed to seeing it through to the end.
- And a few of my favorite reviews: Ikaruga, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, and, unsurprisingly, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Finally, for those who want a blast from the past: my first ever thread. In hindsight, my methodology was far from perfect :P
