meant for sale in the US willl just be manufactured elsewhere if the tariffs are applied to another 300billion of Chinese imports and/or increased beyond 25%. Look at Nintendo hedging by manufacturing some consoles outside of China. The price won't really be affected.

And who knows if the new tarrifs will even be issued. China is back to negotiating.

Also, if Russia sent 20 million of its poorest/uneducated people to Italy, lowering unskilled labor wages and having a substantial number of them not really assimilate and the Illegal russian aliens sent billions back home to Russia in remittances every year. Then have a major political party start pandering heavily to the illegal Russian aliens promising them everything from healthcare to citizenship etc... I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be pleased with that.

Don't worry, soon enough you'll get your wish and we US people will be paying more for videogames/consoles than you Europeans. For example, you can't actually make an argument against Universal Health Care, something which would undoubtedly benefit you, and that clearly works in plenty of other countries.

Tariffs would hurt console manufacturers, game creators, and you specifically. But that's ok, you have undisclosed "concerns" about China.
No matter that these tariffs were 100% not meant to adress your concerns; China bad, Trump good, so this must work, right?

The "pretty much" is referring to the millions in the country illegally already and the people flooding in. You want to dismiss it as hearsay and that's just ignorant.

At the debates all the dems actually said they want to give free healthcare to illegals. Furthermore, social welfare programs simply become more expensive when more people take advantage of them. Hence, the open border thing we have and push for free stuff isn't really that compatible especially when we already spend far more than the taxes collected.

High taxes in general won't make our lives much better especially if the programs dems try to create are trash. So you got POTENTIAL tariffs with Trump versus democrats wanting programs that are going to raise taxes significantly.

It seems like you have the impression the tariffs proposed are happening for no reason. I suggest you read through all the posts in this thread and learn why people are concerned with China.

Mateo Salvini is against massive immigration, I heard he is very popular right now in Italy, so why can’t The USA protect themselves from illegal immigrants? All dem candidates raised their hands when asked if they wanted free health care for illegals.

The problem i see with the implementation of massive immigration(in some countries) is that there is not enough effort invested to really integrate all of them,often they feel isolated and stick with their community and culture without having a good chance at making contact with the other citizens.

They should be our new neigbours we can relate with and not only group together to be an isolated culture inside another culture.

Illegal or not,i'd give my taxmoney to anyone needing healthcare and that wont be such a big moneydrain as sacrifice to be a bit humane.
