So the thing is, I'm moving away from my home in two weeks, halfway across the country. And I just started thinking about buying a pro, so that I can keep my regular ps4 at home, ready to play whenever I visit. That way I also avoid the hazzle (and risk) with bringing my PS4 with me on my flight home. I already have a 40" 4K samsung TV :)

So, is it worth it? :P

Or just buy a regular PS4 and use the extra money on more games.

If you have a 4K TV, I say yes. The amount of support combined with the Pro Boost makes it worthwhile.

If you're going to buy another PS4, buy a Pro. No brainer.

I had a ps4 pro when it launched. Eventually sold it and got a slim bundle that had a really good discount instead. The difference from a regular ps4 to the pro was pretty meh to me since there isn't much standardization as to what you will get and it is heavily left to the devs as far as effort goes. Most, at least from what I can tell, just do the basics and call it a day. So your milage will vary.

considering the easyness on the not having to carry the one PS4 around I say yes. On pure upgrade I didn't see much improvement on mine.

If you have the money why not?

If you have the money, get the Pro. Everything coming out is going to be better, and better on Pro as devs start bringing out projects that have had asscess to it from the start. Additionally, if you end up getting PSVR you will be very happy with your decision.

Pro barely does anything more than the 4, cant run some games in decent framerates or run some games at its promised upscaled 4k, just saying. getting ps4 is saving money
