Its way too funny how people like you continue to take people like Colin and Jim seriously with their schticks that are meant as a joke. Just look at the interviews Colin has been doing with notable industry veterans all week for a prime example of what Colin is genuinely like. If you think Colin or Jim are genuine asses you've completely missed their humor.

Colin didnt had the best week after those interviews, making fucboy lame jokes that exploded right in his face, at this point dude is becaming a joke in the gaming press.

actually, say goodbye.

Great. And? Where does he say you can't skip them? He is annoyed that its the same cutscene over and over, not that he can't skip the same cutscene that appears over and over.

You can skip. You are not forced to see even if the cutscenes are the same or different. What an odd thing to nitpick. But I'm not suprised.

Well even if you skip the blood moon cutscene, it takes 20 seconds to load and get back to the game.

If you actually read the review you would see that he does discuss his issues with the game, if that deserves a 7 who knows.

Don't simply say that he did it for the clicks.

There's no way to read the entire review now. But I already read part of it. It just sums that he didn't knew how to skip cutscenes, neither that you have a Shrine sensor or those activates as fast travel points, and didn't like stamina and weapom degradation systems because "Dark Souls" and blacksmiths in Hyrule make glass swords.

Have you read it? Do you know any other details? I would love to see if he got more things wrong.

You can't drop the stamine and weapon degredation systems critique just because of the humour that he tied to them. He clearly explains how they took away from his experience and how they add a negative diffculty layer which forces the player to complete more shrines.

To add what i was saying he critiques the difficulty of the combat, the "ubisoft" towers, some weather elements, and that he found the shrine element to be a grind.

You're acting like a butthurt child, just because you disgaree doesn't mean he is wrong.

I agree with some of his points regarding the degredation system and the combat, people forget that personal taste is part of reviews, and all the ass kissing BOTW has gotten since launch makes people forget that.

Warning - think-man

Really.... the dungeon are small and repetitive. I have done 16 of them and the intro offer slight variation and the completition cut scene is always the same. It does get old, I keep watching hoping for something new but no they are always the same.

The constant with Jim is he's super critical of everything, so the score is not that surprising.

Welp, jim has received his 15 minutes of fame.

Can't wait for this to die out so we can simply play the game and move on. If 80-85 games are great, than anything above 95 is legendary. One point isn't the end of the world

The gaming community gets triggered over very small things. After all, don't most people say reviews don't matter?

I would have less of a problem if this were true and the content of his review was better substantiated.

He gave Hyrule Warriors a 9/10. That would be an okay score if he weren't critical. Hyrule Warriors has many more flaws than BOTW.

The comments are hilarious. Seems like not many people enjoyed his presence

Yeah, it can certainly work well depending on how they implement it. I've enjoyed it in some games I've played, like SaGa Frontier 2, while I felt that I would have enjoyed the game more without it in others. I like the sound of being able to take weapons from enemies in Zelda, and throw the ones you've used up. What percentage of enemies in the game carry weapons you can take from them?

Many of the standard enemies like Bokblins, Moblins and Echsalfos (german names, maybe they differ in english) carry weapons. All skeletons drop weapons, as their hands are weapons. They sometimes carry other weapons so actually dropping two weapons. Natural beasts like wolfes and monsters like slimes and bats don't drop weapons.

As you can pick your fights, weapons aren't really a problem. I don't bother usually with the monster weapons, as I do have already much better weapons than the ones they drop.
