- Lying to Millions of American about the reality of Obamacare ( can keep your plans) , when they could not.

- NSA Scandal

There are others but those are the main ones.

You are aware that the original design of the Affordable Care Act did allow you to keep your plans/doctor?  The problem was that the Republicans altered it many times before voting on it...of which removed that part about keeping your plans/doctor.   And now they blame that on Obama.

Then why did he repeat it like a parrot head after the ACA passed in 2010?

In what way, are you trying to compare what a dictator can do compared to the US President??

Both are elected presidents, but one leads the other not so much

If they have the same power then yes you can make the comparisions but they do not.  One can do pretty much whatever he wants and another is only 1/4 of the government.  The only want to actually compare the 2 is that you give both the same power which mean you give the President the ability to fire the Vice President and the government and also institute his own under whatever whim .

A few reasons.  Largely, it was not fully known what all got changed prior to to the bill passing.  So many hands were in that pie it started as apple and came out a lemon (double entendre). That bill eventually grew to ~20,000 pages.  Keeping up with what was and was not changed was impossible.  Here's a question.  Did anyone in Congress come forward and explicitly state they would not be able to keep their plan before it was passed?

Further, many elements of the bill didn't take effect until late 2013.  And things were still being adjusted by both parties.  There are still parts that won't show up until 2020.

Finally, only about 2% have been unable to keep their plans.  It says so in your link.

Was the ACA a great program?  Depends on who you ask...or how they were personally affected by it.  Hell, it's largely modeled after Republican Mitt Romney's healthcare bill in MA. But to lay all the good and bad of the ACA solely at Obama's feet is incorrect.  Congress proposed it, Congress wrote it, Congress screwed with it.  Don't be mad at Obama for trying to get healthcare to everyone and missing 2%.  But be made at the Congress that did the actual fudging of the bill.

Then why does he take credit for it then?

Are you aware that the label "Obamacare" was initially pushed forth by its opponents?  Only later did its proponents actually embrace the term.

I have the most epic death scene ever in VGChartz Mafia.  Thanks WordsofWisdom!

How can you say this if George W. Bush was right before him?

Obama is a mixed bag for me. He's done some good (gay marriage became legal under his presidency, he releases non-violent drug offenders somewhat regularly, helped get us out of the recession though some can argue that we're still in it) and some horrible (7 maybe 8? interventions in the Middle East, drone strikes, lied to and turned on the progressives who supported his campaign and became a center-right democrat).

I'd probably give him a 6/10. He's a very likable and charismatic president (not to mention the 1st black president which I personally love about him) but his policy stances are a definite mixed bag.
