It happend near a asylum.

In a city thats had issues with asylum seekers doing this.

The girl said he only spoke english and wore dark clothes.

Basically I think if it was a tall blonde dane, that spoke danish to her. She would have said it was a dane.

They probably dont want to come off sounding racist, by saying she thinks it was a asylum seeker.

Those are some nice assumptions, but we still have no evidence whatsoever. In fact, we don't even know for sure what exactly happened, all we have is the word from one single girl. She could have also only made all that up for all we know. While I do not want to imply she's lying, we also shouldn't jump to conclusions. It's always better to wait for facts.

Danish and proud.. (this one part is not the reason.. for my sake pepersprays could be legal.. but we should offcourse never alow thing like stunners and guns)

AND.. the law is not that hard and she will 100% only get a litle fine.. (if at all)

Also.. there is a reason not to allow things like pepersprays.. stunners and guns (even for self protect).. becourse all studdy shows that bad guys adapt too. (more violent crimes)

I have not read into this.. but think about it..

a 17 year old girl.. in some state of chok.. being ask by a policeman what happend.. most will not lie (and like i said.. its almost not a crime)

It's stupid that pepper spray is illegal. And more police is deinitely needed to deal with this.

But don't blow this out of proportion. If he gets caught, he will face punishment. And 500 danish kr is about 72 dollars. Money she shouldn't have had to pay but definitely worth it to fight off an attacker.

Honestly I am shocked about your opinion and it is a good example of what is wrong with Scandinavian countries. You think criminals will stop doing their deeds because something will become illegal? Rape is illegal too, right? So why are rapists attempting rapes? Maybe because 'rape' is defined as 'surprise sex' in your country? I don't know I'm just guessing, but I wouldn't be surprised.

What I say.. is that if all girls have a peperspray.. Rapers would offcourse adapt to that.. (meaning use more violent when they attack)

Same if we allowed guns.. a robber would be more violent becourse they would expect people around them could kill them.

And rape is 'spurprise sex'.. Dont know what you mean by that.. danes offcourse hate rappers.. (and we have not many compared to other contries and most are being solved by the police)

But it is exactly way of thinking like that that has led to absurdity that a woman gets fined for self defense.

European and scandinavian countries are overall a lot safer than the USA. I found a statistic for murder, denmark has 0.8 murder per 100K people and year, the US has 4.7. In Denmark pepper spray is illegal, in the US even guns are legal. So self-defense is clearly overrated.

The real scandal is, that the police in the area is understaffed.
